Hip hop is fun indeed and there is no limit to this fun. Millions of people daily have a dose of hip hop music to fulfill their lust for this genre. Hip hop has many hard core fans, those who can die for it and those who can live for it. Realizing the importance that hip hop music gained in the lives of people it was thought that it could make a difference. The thought proved to be right and hip hop started addressing social issues.
Racism was common few decades ago in American-African countries and black and white hated each other. Hip hop started addressing this issue. The lyrics in a hip hop song are more than just a bunch of words. They have an aim and a deep meaning. It will not be wrong to say that hip hop was originated by black people but later white people joined the business too. This was perceived to be a major step to diminish the racist approach and mindset of people.
Music has always been considered to be a way of communicating the expressions. Even the hard feelings which are otherwise not possible to state can be easily communicated through music. The other reality about music is that it has no boundaries. There is no barrier to the spread of music and it is for every one and everywhere.
All these facts allow music to be used as a medium to spread social awareness. As said earlier hip hop has a craze among people and they listen to what hip hop says. Hip hop has raised issues like drugs, tolerance, terrorism, racism, religion, peace, self confidence, economy, politics, rights and duties and several other important matters. As we know that music directly hits our souls and leaves an impact, hip hop has certainly changed many lives and thoughts due to its powerful attack on its audiences.
The latest hot hip hop music and songs are not only a bunch of beats and violent lyrics, they are indeed hot and fun but they are responsible at the same time. They are delivering their responsibility to make a change in the world through the soft power of music. This is the need of time to change the mindsets of people and reduce the hatred among the nations and casts, and hip hop music is doing well to make a change!+
